Starting June 3, 2024, Takeda’s Hematology Support Center (HSC) will become Takeda Patient Support. Patients enrolled in HSC will automatically be enrolled into Takeda Patient Support.

As the main point of contact at HSC, CMs can:

  • Assist with HSC enrollment
  • Help eligible patients enroll in Takeda's HSC Co-Pay Assistance Program
  • Connect your patients to the information and resources they need

Patient Access Managers (PAMs)

PAMs are trained to help your patients address potential access challenges with their prescribed Takeda hematology treatment. PAMs can:

  • Provide insurance and access education tools
  • Help answer questions about insurance access and coverage
  • Address complex coverage issues, such as if your patient experiences a loss or lapse in their insurance coverage

*IMPORTANT NOTICE: The Hematology Support Center Co-Pay Assistance Program (the Program) is not valid for prescriptions eligible to be reimbursed, in whole or in part, by Medicaid, Medicare (including Medicare Part D), Tricare, Medigap, VA, DoD, or other federal or state programs (including any medical or state prescription drug assistance programs). No claim for reimbursement of the out-of-pocket expense amount covered by the Program shall be submitted to any third-party payer, whether public or private. The Program cannot be combined with any other rebate/coupon, free trial, or similar offer. Copayment assistance under the Program is not transferable. The Program only applies in the United States, including Puerto Rico and other U.S. territories, and does not apply where prohibited by law, taxed, or restricted. This does not constitute health insurance. Void where use is prohibited by your insurance provider. If your insurance situation changes you must notify the Program immediately at 1-888-229-8379. Coverage of certain administration charges will not apply for patients residing in states where it is prohibited by law. Takeda reserves the right to rescind, revoke, or amend the Program at any time without notice.

Our HSC Case Managers (CMs) are only a phone call away and are here to help your patients enroll in the program. They can walk patients through our online enrollment portal, or help them enroll over the phone, or by fax or mail.

As soon as your patients are enrolled, HSC can start providing them with information and personalized resources to help them when prescribed a Takeda hematology product.

What is HSC?

HSC is a free product support program offered to patients prescribed a Takeda hematology therapy. HSC is here to guide your patients at every step of their Takeda treatment journey. In addition, HSC can provide your office with insurance and access education, including information related to prior authorizations, appeals, and billing and coding.

Does HSC offer support to patients in a language other than English?

If English is not your patient's preferred language, we can communicate with them over the phone using a translation service.

My patient's insurance plan will not cover their Takeda treatment. How can HSC help?

If your patient's insurance plan does not cover their prescription, HSC team members can offer assistance. Patient Access Managers (PAMs) are specially trained to help your patients address complex coverage issues and barriers to treatment access.

How can I help my patient enroll in HSC?

The patient enrollment process for HSC is very simple and does not require you or your office to be involved. Patients can enroll in HSC in a few simple clicks through our convenient online enrollment portal. You can share the HSC enrollment portal with your patient here.

If your patient prefers, they can enroll by calling HSC and speaking with one of our Case Managers (CMs). CMs are standing by and ready to assist you and your patients Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 8:00 PM ET, at 1-888-229-83791-888-229-8379.

How can my patient pay less for their Takeda medication?

HSC provides co-pay assistance to eligible patients with commercial insurance. With co-pay assistance, 100% of qualified out-of-pocket expenses may be covered up to the program maximum.*
